Millyz releases ‘Blanco 5’ Along With Visual Featuring Fivio Foreign “Opt Out”
After delivering stand-out freestyles all year on L.A. Leakers, The Come Up Show, and most recently Fire In The Booth, the Boston rapper, Millyz has just shared his new album Blanco 5 along with a new video for “Opt Out” (feat. Fivio Foreign). On “Opt Out,” Millyz flexes the versatility of his style by joining the leader of the Brooklyn drill movement Fivio Foreign for a worthwhile collaboration that naturally weaves together their distinctive sounds. The visual for “Opt Out” are as exhilarating as the track itself, showing Millyz & Fivio surrounded by a rowdy parking lot party with their respective crews and footage of Millyz’s surprise appearance at Fivio’s show in Boston this month, further displaying the familiarity between the two rappers.
Across 17-tracks, Blanco 5 highlights the outstanding growth Millyz has exhibited in his decade-long tenure in hip-hop, perfectly showing the forthright effort he’s put in sharpening his pen and crafting his candid songwriting abilities. Millyz links up with Styles P for the introspective cut “Sacred” where the two expert bar-spitters reflect on the ambivalence of fame and success over a smooth, well-tuned instrumental. Although Blanco 5 includes appearances from hip-hop icons like his mentor of a decade Jadakiss on the previously released single “Rearview Mirror” & the aforementioned Styles P, Millyz also brings along his deep-rooted ties to the new generation to the album with outstanding features from Fivio Foreign, Mozzy, Dave East, Peezy & more. After mercilessly working in hip-hop for over a decade, Millyz finally finds his well-earned moment in the limelight with the release of his new album Blanco 5.
