The summer just got hotter as Grammy-award-winning singer SZA announces a new album is coming soon.

SZA attended the Met Gala last night where she did confirm that the album is officially done and ready to drop this summer. She told Vogue:

My album is finally ready to go, more than I’ve ever felt like before. So this summer, it will be a SZA summer.

The 31- year-old singer did give some insight at this year’s Grammy about where she finished the album after winning Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance with Doja Cat for their collaboration on “Kiss Me More.”

I just actually finished it up in Hawaii recently, so just turning it in

SZA has been doing a great job of providing us with hit singles since her last album was released five years ago with her debut Ctrl. The TDE artist released a pair of hits including “Good Days,” which arrived in December 2020 and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was followed one year later by “I Hate U,” which reached No. 7 on the chart. She has also been on a number of features including Summer Walker’s “No love.”

SZA has also branched out into the fashion world with a release of her very own collab with Crocs. She has created two camp-inspired looks for clogs and slides.
