Muni Long Is Back W/ ‘Another’ One

Singer/songwriter Muni Long made her mark on the R&B scene with her breakout smash, “Hrs & Hrs,” which landed her a Top 20 hit on the Billboard charts recently. The Florida native is back with her follow up simply titled, “Another” and judging by its composition, its safe to say she might literally have another one.

Unlike her previously hit, “Another” finds Muni warning her man if he doesn’t get his act together, he can easily be replaced with the next man, as the lyrics read:

“What one nia won’t do, another nia gon’ do / I’m puttin’ you on notice / Another ni**a done bought me roses,” she sings. “I’m telling you, they want me / While you out here playin’, they ain’t playin’.”

After gaining notoriety with “Hrs & Hrs,” which peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, Muni negotiated a partnership deal with Def Jam Records, alongside her Supergiant Records label earlier this year. Her last offering was 2021’s EP Public Displays of Affection, which also features the fan-favorite, “Time Machine.” Prior to her name change, Muni went by her government name Priscilla Renea and has written hits for the likes of Rihanna, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, and Ariana Grande just to name a few.
