Last Sunday night hosted the 64th Grammy awards at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas with a slew of stars in attendance. Lil Nas X was one of many, who was nominated for 5 trophies in categories for Album of the Year for Montero, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Industry Baby” and Best Music Video for “Montero (Call Me by Your Name).”

Unfortunately, the 22-year old Atlanta native didn’t take home any awards but did perform a medley of his hits at the coveted ceremony, in which he brought out fellow rapper Jack Harlow for their collaborative anthem, “Industry Baby.”

“lost all my grammies so far. let’s celebrate that!”

But despite Nas not winning anything that night (even though I feel like he was snubbed for at least “Best Melodic Rap Performance”), he was still hopeful and claims Sunday night was his best performance to date and that he plans on going hard on his next album.

Aside from his performance that night, Lil Nas X seemed to had a great time overall at the awards. He kicked it with Doja Cat and Lady Gaga, helped out SZA backstage in her wheelchair, and even attended a few Grammy after parties. We’re excited to hear what the follow up to Montero will sound like.
