Cardi B Deactivates her Social Media Accounts Amidst Grammy Awards Due to Fans
By now most of you are aware of Cardi B and how connected she is to social media, considering its the platform that transformed her into a megastar, including her stint on reality television. The 29-year old Bronx native got real upset and deactivated both her Instagram and Twitter accounts earlier after fans attacked her for not attending last night’s 64th Grammy awards even though she was nominated for “Best Rap Performance” for her song, “Up.”
The Grammy award winner took to Twitter to address her #BardiGang fan base after they blasted not only her, but her newly born son as well calling her “lazy” and the sorts. Here’s what the “Bodak Yellow” star had to say below via Tweets,
“I gotta prep today and I gotta prep tomorrow. So Tuesday, I’m going far away and f–king finish the motherf–king album.”
“I’m doing a red carpet soon and it’s gonna be great, but I don’t like it when motherf–kers attack me to do some s–t and then call me lazy because I’m not doing it,” she said. “One thing I hate is when people call me lazy because I work so motherf–king much. And that’s why I’m f–king mad.”
