Hitmaka’s New Signees Block Boyz To Drop New Track With Sada Baby This Friday!

Every now and again the universe blesses the music industry with artists who can turn music into magic. As they put San Angelo, Texas on the rap map, the Block Boyz are doing just that. Rapping together since junior high school, 19-year-olds Jayden “J-Kap” Perez and Zach “Lil Chat” Chatman fill their music with energy, swagger, and the drive to stand out. 

Block Boyz is taking their craft to a new level. The group is now working with songwriter-producer team of Chrishan (Chris Brown, Ty Dolla Sign, Meek Mill) and Hitmaka (Big Sean, Trippie Redd, Nicki Minaj), the Block Boyz are stepping into the spotlight. After grabbing national attention from early singles, “Rain” and “Runnin,’” 2021’s “2 A.M.” told the story of the duo’s relentless pursuit while “LOWKEY” flexed a trunk-ratting beat that sounded out of the ‘80s, with contemporary slang, energy, and style. 

The duo’s 2022 campaign kicks off with the Sada Baby-assisted “Make It Wet” music video, which will see a splash fast becoming a wave. The Detroit rapper appears in early 2022’s music video, where the fun-loving Block Boyz throw a lavish house party. “Work hard, play hard; that’s how we do,” says Chat. With more music coming, the party is just starting for these two originals.
