After co-writing notable hits such as Latto‘s “Big Energy,” The Kid LAROI‘s “F*ck You. Goodbye,” and Saweetie‘s “Best Friend,” Grammy-nominated triple threat A1 LaFlare  makes her official artist debut with “Wootie Woot.” Produced by Dr. Luke & Rocco Did It Again!, the energetic track is perfect for a Friday pregame or a late night workout session. Filled with catchy lyrics and an effortlessly smooth delivery, the song gives brief insight on A1’s humble beginnings yet still manages to serve as braggadocious bop.

“Wootie woot is just a slang word we use in the city. It basically means so on and so forth. For example, when you’re telling a story instead of mentioning every detail you’d use wootie woot as a bridge to get to the more important parts.”

Speaking on the record’s origins, A1 explains

For some more insight on the Peach State prodigy, A1 LaFlare was raised in Georgia by a registered nurse and preacher. You may say that’s her best friend! Though she was already creating her own songs towards the end of junior high school, it was rapper turned executive Gucci Mane that ignited her desire to seriously pursue music as a career. Sighting him as her biggest inspiration, the “LaFlare” at the end of her moniker was derived from his nickname; while A1 was given to her by family and close friends.
