Teyana Taylor has proven once again why we need her in the music business. The 30-year-old entertainer is on her farewell tour “The Last Rose Petal” and it has been heating up. Over the weekend, the tour made its stops in New York City and delivered a sold out show for both dates.

Fans were sad to hear of the singer retiring from music. If you do not remember, Teyana was apart of Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music label. After her 2018 album K.T.S.E, Teyana expressed how disappointed she was with the label and how they handled her talent. At the time, Teyana said, ““I am going to feel under appreciated if I’m putting in 110 percent and my label is giving me … what, 10 percent of that.” She continued, “I put in a lot of work [and] I felt like the label wasn’t really hearing me and [seeing] me. I feel under appreciated. It’s not that I retired permanently, it’s more like, I don’t want to move another inch for a company.”

Teyana isn’t holding back with these last shows either. The show was a nonstop masterpiece from start to finish with Teyana performing all of the hits we have come to know and love over the years.

The highlight of the show was the songstress performing her sultry hit “3Way”. She invited both LaLa and rapper DreamDoll on stage to join her in a sensual lap dance.

Fans took to twitter to give the singer her praise but also point out a very surprised LaLa:

After the sexy was done, fans got to experience the real star of the show, Junie. Some concert goers got into a little scuffle at the concert but Junie, being the little boss she is helped put that to rest. Teyana told fans before her and Junie performed “Hey, ain’t no f###### fighting when my baby performing”. The 5-year-old followed up with ““Whoever is acting sassy, they need to get out,” and the fans got it together. Junie wasn’t having it telling the DJ ““If ya’ll don’t play my music,” she informed the DJs, “I’m beating ya’ll up.”

Needless to say, while we have gotten to see Teyana Taylor grow over the years from the MTV series My Super Sweet 16 to Maxim 100’s first ever African American “Sexiest Woman Alive” candidate, it is clear she has always been a star.

We are still holding out hope that this isn’t the last of Teyana in music!
