DaniLeigh Hit With Assault Charges for DaBaby Following Instagram Live

DaniLeigh’s day just got a lot worst! The 26 year-old singer was charged with Simple Assault after allegedly attacking her baby father, DaBaby. Now, this story has been on a whirlwind and it doesn’t look like it will slow down anytime soon.

Cops were called to DaBaby’s North Carolina penthouse on November 14th to remove DaniLeigh after he alleged that she assaulted him. DaniLeigh, real name Danielle Leigh Curiel, was seen on live later on talking to cops in the apartment telling them to go talk to DaBaby since he was the one who called them.

According to TMZ ”Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD says DaniLeigh was charged with 2 counts of simple assault after officers made 2 visits to the rapper’s home.”

What’s crazy about this situation is on Monday morning DaBaby went live again in the same penthouse when he was speaking about the situation the prior day. Fans on the live were shocked to see that DaniLeigh was still at the apartment during this time.

After this live many celebrities hook to Instagram to show support for the singer. Summer Walker wrote “ @iamdanileigh No cap whatever you need hit me, & I mean whatever.” Alexis sky explained that healing energy needed to be sent to Danny. Other celebrities like R&B singer Tank and Love and Hip-Hop cast member Bianca Bonnie also share messages to help encourage the singer to leave.

Dani did take to Instagram to let everybody know that she did in fact leave his home as well as take the baby with her, and that they were safe.
