Earthgang Announce Their New Project ‘Ghetto Gods’
On November 3rd, EarthgGang took to their social media accounts to update fans on the next epoch of their music. Their next project will be titled GHETTO GODS and is set to be released on January 28th, 2022. Additionally, EarthGang confirmed that the release will coincide with the release of J. Cole’s next project.
It’s been a while since we last heard from EarthGang without the context of a collab with other Dreamville superstars. After their last project as a solo act Mirrorland, released in 2019, the duo who hails from Atlanta, went on to reunite forces with members of their supergroup Spillage Village. The collective of EarthGang, fellow Dreamville labelmate JID, Mereba, Hollywood JB, JurdanBryant, 6LACK, and Benji went on to release their first project in four years, Spilligion. Spilligion is by far one of the most underrated projects of 2020, in my opinion playing a crucial part in solidifying my fandom for EarthGang and as well as the Spillage Village collective.

Cole’s The Off-Season, Dreamville fans are hopeful that January 28th will gift them new music from both EarthGang and J. Cole.
With January 28th still two months away, fans shouldn’t expect more news about GHETTO GODS anytime soon. Two months gives EarthGang a lot of time to put the finishing touches on their heavily anticipated album and the release of a lead single likely won’t happen until January. All things being considered as long as GHETTO GODS is worth the wait, fans will graciously wait until they can get their hands on the latest EarthGang offering.
