Eric Roberson Recruits Anthony Hamilton, Raheem Devaughn, and Kevin Ross on “Lessons” Remix
Eric Roberson in retrospect, is one of the most underrated and multi-talented singers/songwriters of this generation. Undoubtly, his catalog showcases a profound and authentic sound of Rhythm and Blues whilst continuing to elevate his sound with the times. Roberson’s innovative and introspective content within his music is a sheer correlation of what people go through in reality, and in hindsight, is therapeutic and nurturing to the soul.
On top of writing and producing his own music, he has written for some of the greatest R&B acts of all time, ranging from: Musiq Soulchild, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, 112, Will Smith, and more.
In pursuit of releasing his 12th studio project “Lessons,” slated to drop in January 2022 – Eric Roberson is steadily releasing records prior to the album release.
The first official single is the same title of Roberson’s forthcoming album, and it wouldn’t be a testament if the R&B mastermind did not recruit his fellow counterparts to follow suit on the remix.
“Lessons” Remix exemplifies the aesthetics of love and what surrounds it. Each R&B star added their own testament of lessons to learn when it comes to love and life. The record features: Grammy Award Winner Anthony Hamilton (“Point of it All”), Kevin Ross (“Don’t Go”), and Raheem DeVaughn (“Don’t Come Easy”).
Hamilton recently released his first studio album in five years titled, “Love is the New Black,” whereas Raheem DeVaughn collaborated with Keith Sweat’s new single, titled ‘Can’t Nobody.’ Kevin Ross released his project “Drive II.”
Eric Roberson is preparing to go on tour beginning on November 3rd at Yoshi’s in Oakland, California. The tour will end on March 5th at City Winery in Philadelphia. For more ticket information, visit: www.ericrobersonmusic.com
