Lil Durk Targets High School Diploma As Next Goal
2021 has been the most successful year of Lil Durk’s career thus far. The Chicago native has risen through the Hip-Hop ranks to become one of the genre’s household names through his recent music output. However, what do you get the artist who has everything he could want in his career right now? The answer: a high school diploma.
2021 has been the most successful year of Lil Durk’s career thus far. The Chicago native has risen through the Hip-Hop ranks to become one of the genre’s household names through his recent music output. Lil Durk started the year adding tracks to his 2020 album The Voice in January before releasing Only The Family – Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros, a compilation album featuring artists he signed to his label Only The Family. Lil Durk then wrapped up the first half of the year by joining forces with Lil Baby to create their collab project, The Voice of the Heroes. Of course, I’d be remised if I didn’t mention the numerous features Lil Durk has given out this year most notably appearing on Moneybagg Yo’s ‘Free Promo’ along with Polo G and Pooh Shiesty’s ‘Back In Blood.’
However, what do you get the artist who has everything he could want in his career right now? The answer: a high school diploma. Lil Durk took to Twitter this morning to announce, his new quest of earning his high school diploma tweeting, “I’m going to get my high school diploma I want to challenge myself on my goals and real life situations.”
With Lil Durk having all of the success in the world right now, it’s nice to see his yearning for a high school diploma, especially when you factor in the good example, he’d be setting by encouraging the youth that looks up to him to stay in school. Hopefully, fans of black excellence can gather and celebrate once Lil Durk accomplishes his new goal.
