Wale’s ‘Folarin 2’ Drops October 22nd

After teasing his first project since October 2019, Folarin 2, and dropping a slew of singles throughout 2021, the wait for Wale’s Wow… That’s Crazy follow-up is now set to come to an end. After the release of Wale’s most recent track ‘Poke It Out,’ a collab between himself and producers Cool & Dre featuring J. Cole, Wale took to Twitter to reveal the cover art and release date for his upcoming project. “Folarin 2 October 22 I’m ready as ever,” Wale stated in the tweet that also contained the cover art for the incoming Wale offering.

2019’s Wow… That’s Crazy was a much-needed bounce-back project for Wale following the less than raving reviews for his previous project, 2017’s Shine. With Folarin 2, Wale hopes to continue riding the momentum of his last project and satisfy his fanbase with the new music he has been working on over the past two years. With Folarin 2 now two Fridays away from release, Wale has plenty of time to stamp the finish touches on his incoming project and rollout by perhaps supplying fans with more music to hold them over until the October 22nd release date. Until then, fans of the DMV rapper will patiently await the next developments in the Folarin 2 saga while blasting ‘Poke It Out’ featuring J. Cole on repeat.
