Chicago Artist Goldenboymnny Is Finding A Way To Get Paid On “Paidaway”

Earlier this month, Goldenboymnny (pronounced “Golden Boy Manny”) dropped the fun Miggy-directed visual for “Paidaway” of his recent album ‘Bet On Me’.

Goldenboymnny is an exciting new artist out of Chicago with a fresh, hip-pop style. Channeling the fun, upbeat pop feel of artists like Lil Tecca or fellow Chicago-native Juice WRLD, Goldenboymnny exhibits style and confidence beyond his years with his distinct style. 

“Paidaway” is a fun, upbeat poppy track with Goldenboymnny’s unique style on full display as he shifts effortlessly between a series of unintuitive but incredibly catchy flows. The accompanying Cole Bennett-inspired music video depicts the Golden boy finding a way to get paid and ultimately getting fed up with a dead end office job. 

Goldenboymnny has been on an upward trajectory since his last project in April, ‘Bet On Me’. The twelve-track tape – featuring production from 5heriff, Ceobeatz , and Ra – received high praise from those in tune with the rising class of new melodic hip hop artists out of Chicago. Specifically being featured on Lyrical Lemonade – with a hint that he would be included on the yearly “Top 50 Chicago Projects” for 2021. Standout tracks from the project include “She Lied”, ‘Bite the Bullet” and of course “Paidaway”.
