On August 22nd, Carti cleared his Instagram page before returning the next day to post a picture with the caption, “NARCISSIST 09/13/21.” While it’s unclear if “NARCISSIST” will be a single, full-length album or another project away from music, Playboi Carti fans are ecstatic over the possibility of new music from the Whole Lotta Red rapper.

On August 23rd, Lil Uzi Vert tweeted “16*29 xxxxxxxx” to the skepticism of many fans before following up by tweeting, “Bro just ask Carti.” However, it’s important to note that Lil Uzi and Playboi Carti have been trolling fans with the possibility of the collab tape being released and this could just be the latest chapter in that trend.
With the possibility of new music from Playboi Carti seemingly confirmed, all fans want to know is in what form should they expect this new Carti music.
