While it’s unclear what purpose ‘Family Ties’ will serve, the single may confirm that fans should expect a new album from Kendrick Lamar sooner rather than later. However, it’s also important to note that ‘Family Ties’ serves as Baby Keem’s third single of the year following ‘no sense’ and ‘durag activity’ featuring Travis Scott. Either way, fans are psyched at the prospect of Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem finally joining forces on the same beat.
It remains to be seen what comes from ‘Family Ties,’ however, it appears that out of the possibilities of a new album from Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, the realization of yearning for their collab album, or the launch of pgLang, at least one out of the four possibilities could become reality by the end of the year. However, there will be lots of time to speculate about the future, for now, let’s just sit back and enjoy the music.
