2021 MTV Video Music Awards Nominations Announced; Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat Top Noms

The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards are quickly approaching, so it was only a matter of time before the nominations were announced. Justin Bieber is the top nominated artist this year with seven for his number-one hit “Peaches.” Megan Thee Stallion follows with six noms this year, including her Cardi B collaboration “WAP” for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and nominated twice in the Best Hip-Hop category. Doja Cat follows up with five nominations, including Best Collaboration for her SZA-assisted hit “Kiss Me More.” Other top nominees this year include Beyoncé, BTS, and Olivia Rodrigo. Fans can now vote over at the official VMAs site up to 20 times a day.

With no host or performers announced yet, the VMAs will once again return to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center airing live on MTV, BET, VH1, Paramount+ and other ViacomCBS networks on Sunday, September 12th at 8PM ET.
