Silk Sonic Returns With New Summer Feel Single ‘Skate’

Silk Sonic is bringing back that good, old-school R&B feel with a modern-day twist. While we wait for their album An Evening With Silk Sonic – expected to be released sometime this year – the BET Award recipients are holding fans over with their new summertime single ‘Skate’ which Is definitely a great cookout record that we foresee will be played for years to come.

Anderson.Paak teased the single earlier this week with an “invitation” to Sonic’s Summertime Jam.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, the duo mentioned that the duo came about during a “jam session,” and then they decided to form what we have now as Silk Sonic. With ‘Leave The Door Open’ already locking in fans and certified Platinum in North America, you can expect their second single to follow the same success. You can watch the video below.
