Rumors Swirl Around Kanye West’s Potential New Project ‘Donda’

The rumors are swirling around what could potentially be a new album from Kanye West that is expected to drop this coming Friday, July 23rd. The rumor mill began churning after a tweet from Justin Laboy claiming West played his new album for himself along with future basketball Hall of Famer Kevin Durant with an accompanying picture of Laboy, Durant and what folks can only assume is Kanye West. From there the rumors began picking up momentum with more evidence being poured into the rumor pie in the form of a listening party that took place over the weekend in Las Vegas. Additionally, it has now been confirmed that West will hold a listening event for the general public in Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium this Thursday at 8 PM. Tickets for the event are set to go on sale today at 5 PM EST.

With the name of the listening party being, Kanye West Presents: Donda Listening Event, fans and stans of the iconic artist may have reason to be excited as one of Kanye West’s most heavily anticipated projects Donda, named after his late mother, may be a tangible thing. Now if you’re not in the business of getting your heart broken by unreleased music, I’d caution you to pull back on your hype a bit because nothing has been officially confirmed.
