Vince Staples Drops Release Date for Album Plus Track list

Today, Vince Staples announced his fourth album, self-titled Vince Staples. The news comes on the rappers 28^th birthday that the album will be dropping next week. For a few weeks now, Staples has been previewing on his social media that he will be releasing new music soon. With the drop of his new single “LAW OF AVERAGES”, Staples finally revealed that his full album is coming next week. On his Instagram today, Staples posted a video saying, “I’m Vince Staples and it’s my birthday. If you care about my birthday, you should do one thing for me. Go pre-save, pre-add, or pre-order Vince Staples by Vince Staples on your local DSP. It would really mean a lot. Thank you, bitch”.

Following the video, he posted a picture with the release date of the album saying that July 9^th is the day for the big release. Exciting his fans with the release date, he excited them even more with a track list of 10 songs, none with features. Vince Staples is the first new album from Vince Staples since his album in 2018. The album is a collaboration with producer Kenny Beats. Staples wants his fans to see and hear who he truly is, making the album self-titled. Staples said in statement to the press, “it really gives much more information about me that wasn’t out there before. That’s why I went with that title. I feel like I’ve been trying to tell the same story. As you go on in life, your point of view changes. This is another take on myself that I might not have had before”.
