Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd: Spotted Out Together for a Dinner Date

The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie were spotted out in Los Angeles on what might have been a date. Jolie and The Weeknd were spotted leaving hot spot restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles this past Wednesday night. Apparently the two have had a connection for a little bit with their relationship to Ethiopia. A few months ago, The Weeknd teamed up with World Food Program US to donate $1 million dollars to help with the efforts in Ethiopia that have caused a disruption between the government in Addis Ababa and the Tigray Region. The connection comes together with Jolie as she adopted her daughter Zahara, now 16 years old, from Ethiopia. After her adoption, Jolie created ‘The Zahara Program” which is a cause to help girls in Ethiopia. This is one of the first times Jolie has been spotted after spending a lot of time at home with her children. 

According to the tabloids, the pair spent a long time in the restaurant but decided to leave separately so they would not cause a ruckus and avoid suspicion from fans. Jolie has been going through a long custody battle with her ex-husband Brad Pitt over their children together. They split in 2016 and after 5 years, the battle of custody is still happening. On the other hand, The Weeknd has been romantically linked to Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez in the past. With Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd’s night out, they are starting to spread rumors around town. Although people are believing it to be a romantic date, it could have just been a business meeting. We will be sure to keep an eye out for this new pair in the next few weeks.
