The Kid Laroi Signed by Scooter Braun’s Management Team

The Kid Laroi has been skyrocketing in the industry as his newest single “Without You” is topping the charts. This past week, Laroi has signed to SB Projects, the management team under Scooter Braun. Braun was the key in Justin Bieber’s success as he founded him early in his career on YouTube. Over the years, Braun has signed superstar artists such as Ariana Grande, J Balvin, Dan and Shay, Demi Lovato, and more. Before signing to SB Projects, Laroi was a part of Grade A Productions, the label to the late Juice WRLD. However, Laroi explained in an interview with Variety that Bieber has always been a big inspiration and helped him to pursue music in the beginning of his career. As a big fan of Bieber from a young age, Laroi knew that Bieber was going to be a superstar and always was inspired by his music. 

Braun tweeted the other day, “Welcome to the family superstar”, expressing his excitement to have such a gifted artist to add to his big list of talent. Growing up in Australia, Laroi found a love for hip hop at a young age. He started to record verses on his iPhone but upgraded to SoundCloud after a little bit of time. In 2019, his music was seen by Grade A Productions and he was picked up by them just a little after that. He opened for Juice WRLD on tour in Australia and created a beautiful friendship. After Juice WRLD died from a drug overdose in 2019, Laroi was devastated, crediting Juice WRLD as a mentor to him. As he had been working on his debut album, F*ck Love, he used it to honor Juice WRLD with his talent and lyrics. After his breakout year, being on top of the Billboard charts and being featured on songs with big names such as Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, Laroi looks to put out new music under Braun’s team. As Laroi continues to rise in his fame, being added to the SB Projects management team is a big move for the young aspiring rapper.
