Pi’erre Bourne fans are now allowed to take a collective “woosah” as a release date for The Life of Pi’erre 5 has been announced. Producer and rapper Pi’erre Bourne took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce that the finale in his The Life of Pi’erre series will be released on Friday, June 11th. With rumors of features from artists like Lil Uzi Vert appearing on The Life of Pi’erre 5 running rampant, the hype may be at an all-time high for the series.

Throughout the series Pi’erre has crafted one of the most distinct sounds in all of music, notably perfecting the art of the beat switch in such a way that allows for smooth transitions from song to song, making an album feel like one long song. Additionally, the instant recognizability of a Pi’erre Bourne beat from the famous “yo, Pi’erre you wanna come out here” tag to the melody and bass patterns found in each beat is nothing to scoff at.

From producing beats for rappers like Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Nudy, Kanye West, Drake, and many others to developing his vocal sound to pair with his own beats, Pi’erre Bourne has made a name for himself in Hip-Hop with a legit argument to be made that he is the best producer in the genre right now. The finale of Pi’erre Bourne’s The Life of Pi’erre series is bittersweet to many fans who have enjoyed the boundary-pushing series with all eyes looking to see what’s next from Pi’erre.
