The video would be a reminiscent of humble beginnings from the Migos – taking it back to the trap while each group member spit their hunger-fueled verses, beginning with Quavo, then Takeoff, and in closing – Offset.
It is presumptuous that “Straightenin’” is the first single toward their critically acclaimed and highly anticipated third installment, Culture III. Their last album Culture II made its debut back in January 2018 with the release of their first promotional single, “Motorsport,” which featured Hip-Hop female contenders; Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and reached number six on Billboard Hot 100. Migos second single, “Stir Fry,” produced by Pharrell Williams secured in the top ten spot of Billboard Hot 100. “Walk It Like I Talk It” featuring Drake landed on the number ten spot, and “Narcos,” was within the top 40 of Billboard Hot 100. Currently, Culture II is certified double platinum un the US.
Curiosity has been brewing ever since the group debut their new single which led fans to inquire if the group would return to their rouge-Atlanta based vibe as if they were just starting out. As of now, there are no announcement regarding the release date of Culture III, however, it is slated to release by this year sometime.
