Marsha Ambrosius is one of the most underrated, soulful voices, and multi-facet individuals to ever step in the music circuit. First being introduced to the world, in the neo-soul/hip-hop duo Floetry alongside bandmate Natalie Stewart; it was inevitable that Marsha Ambrosius would be the secret ingredient to many classics.
The group Floetry gave us earth-shattering hits, such as “Floetic,” “Say Yes,” and “Getting Late,” but once the group ventured off into their solo endeavors, Marsha Ambrosis continued to cultivate many hit-records with her illustrious and soul-driven penmanship. Records such as, Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River,” Alicia Keys “Go Ahead,” and the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, “Butterflies,” garnered Marsha several Grammy Nominations and to hail as one of the best songwriters to date.
Releasing several solo singles (“Hope She Cheats on You,” “Far Away,” and “Luh Ya”) and two full-length projects (Late Nights & Early Mornings (2011) Friends & Lovers (2014), and Nyla (2018) ) in which several singles reached in the US R&B charts and album sales under solo entity amassed over 500,000.
