Last night, Grammy-winning Dream Chasers artist, Vory headlined a live, fully interactive virtual concert on the Genius Live Platform.

As COVID restrictions remain in place, artists and brands continue to find new ways to interact with fans and keep live entertainment alive. Vory’s performance on Genius Live last night gives us hope that these types of performances can be equally as engaging, performing a sampling of his fan-favorite tracks including “Aint It Funny,” “CC Interlude” and “This Side” feat. Landstrip Chip in a really cool, dimly lit studio space that perfectly fits Vory’s mysterious, vibe.

The event attracted thousands of viewers – with fans watching along live, participating in the chat in real-time, and granted the opportunity to participate in new ways, like gaining access to exclusives merch and the ability to purchase shoutouts and send messages directly to Vory himself – all thanks to the innovative Genius Live platform.

If you don’t know Vory… well, you actually do. In addition to being apart of Meek Mill’s famed RocNation imprint Dream Chasers, you’ve heard him and/or his pen on tracks with some artists you may have heard of – including Drake’s “Mob Ties,” Post Malone’s “On the Road,” and DJ Khaled’s “Celebrate.” Vory also won a Grammy for his work on THE CARTERS’ EVERYTHING IS LOVE – which won the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2019.

Another little know, legendary fun-fact about the 23-year-old Vory, he got his start in music after moving from his native Houston to Louisville, KY as a teenager – where he connected with another hugely talented, soon-to-be groundbreaking artist named Bryson Tiller. You can actually hear Vory’s vocals on the iconic mid 20-teens jam, “Don’t” as well as several writing credit’s on Tiller’s debut project, Trapsoul.
