Beyonce Drops Juneteenth Song, ‘Black Parade’

In honor of Juneteenth, Beyonce releases a brand new song, titled, “Black Parade.” The leader of the BeyHive shares new music after announcing her new initiative to support black-owned business.

The song launches a new website of the same name. The site provides a directory of Black-owned businesses ranging from art & design, restaurants, beauty products, lifestyle, wellness, bookstores and more. The website endorses BeyGOOD’s Black Business Impact Fund which is administrated by the National Urban League.

Upon releasing her first new song since The Lion King album. Beyonce took to Instagram with the following statement:

“Happy Juneteenth Weekend! I hope we continue to share joy and celebrate each other, even in the midst of struggle. Please continue to remember our beauty, strength and power. Being Black is your activism. Black excellence is a form of protest. Black joy is your right.”
