Ron Suno and Smoove’L Are Dropping Quarantine Heat
MusicXclusives went behind the scenes of Ron Suno’s newest video, “Bussin” featuring Brooklyn’s own Smoove’L.
At around 4:30 pm on a rainy Saturday, our MusicXclusives team pulled up to D’jumbala night club in Brooklyn, NY. The venue, also known as Bentleys, was immediately captivating as the high ceilings and decorations made it very spacious and colorful. One section, aptly called “Ballers Corner” was where Ron Suno and Smoove’L spent most of their time during the shoot. The large bar area was also heavily utilized, particularly for the twerk sessions that happened after the video.
The video scene then shifted to the center of the room, where the models gathered for a large party scene. Ron Suno and Smoove’L had the scene on smash while dancing and rapping along to the video.
After the shoot ended, the club emptied out quickly. Thinking that there were cops outside, only to see Ron Suno and Smoove’L continuing to film on top of a large bulletproof truck. The hustle doesn’t stop!
Riding high off of the success of “Pinocchio” and “Spiderman” Ron Suno is at the top of his game right now. The 19 year-old rapper/comedian developed a deep fan base on Instagram, where he has amassed over 900k followers. He then parlayed that success into music, and has hits like “Spiderman” featuring another of New York’s stars, “Big Drip” rapper Fivio Foreign. Whether regarded as a rapper or comedian, Ron Suno is indisputably one of the biggest creatives in New York.
His collaborator, Smoove’L is no stranger either. His hit song, “New Apolos” became a new anthem for the city after Back in January, Smoove L announced he signed a joint record deal with Run Music LLC and Interscope Records. Huge moves for the 20 year-old.
Let’s be on the look out for this new track.
