As Hip-Hop transition into the new landscape after being forever altered by a worldwide pandemic. Former unfamiliar regions like Virginia (DMV) have risen to the top of the spectrum thanks to innovative new artists like the up-and-coming recording artist Kwad. After establishing his presence with a string of credible viral hits, followed by a couple of consignments by established acts like Pusha T, Yung Bans and Xanman, Kwad delivers his best work yet in the new collection, entitled, Soundboy 3.

Embodied with a signature DMV sound, Kwad displays 19 new songs filled with cunning wit, rebellious attitude and magnetic appeal. Featuring FNF Chop and 909 Memphis, the album includes new fan-favorites, “No Hook,” “Trap Bussin’” and the latest single, “Headshot.” Kwad’s new project is a defining representation of the new era in the DMV.

“Soundboy 3 is a project for Virginia, but it also represents me claiming my place in the world,” he says. “I just want my state to know I’m ready to put on for us. Even when you look at the two features I chose, FNF Chop and 909Memphis, they’re as VA as they come yet contrast each other.”
