Florida artist, SpotemGottem was arrested on Sunday, June 26, after he allegedly tried to flee from the police on a jet ski in Miami.

According to reports, the 20-year-old Jacksonville, Florida native was charged with reckless operation of a boat and fleeing from the police. At the time of his arrest, the emcee was out on bond for a case involving possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault.

As stated by the arrest report, an officer noticed SpotemGottem – whose real name is Nehemiah Harden – speeding on his jet ski in a restricted speed zone and doing “S-type turns near anchored boats.” The officer then claims that they turned on their emergency equipment and quickly got Harden’s attention, trying to call him over to conduct a traffic stop. At which point, Harden began to “accelerate” and “swerve through boats in close proximity to swimmers and anchored boats.”

The report continues to claim that the “Beat Box” rapper “willfully refused to stop and continued to flee,” eventually being apprehended.

Last year, Harden was arrested in a hotel room by U.S. Federal Marshals for his alleged involvement in a June assault case involving a deadly weapon. Harden would go on to plead not guilty to what reports say was a confrontation over an $80 fee involving a garage attendant where Harden pointed a gun with a laser at the employee from the backseat. Two months after his arrest, Harden was shot in the hip while driving on a Miami Highway. The incident left 22 bullet holes on the driver’s side and resulted in another passenger, sitting in the backseat of the car, sustaining gunshot wounds in both legs.
