OGEE Releases “Get Ya Smoke On” Single

South Carolina rapper OGEE is reaching deep into his bag of melodic frequencies, reminiscent of rappers such as NBA YoungBoy, to personify the money-focused, kush-blowing vibes on his 420-friendly “Get Yo Smoke On” single.

Explicitly detailing his obsession with exotic flavors and running up a check one-in-the-same, OGEE’s rapid-fire bars float effortlessly over the trap-leaning production.

Building on his consistent string of singles this year, South Carolina rapper OGEE is burning up even more 2022 pack with his recent releases. His latest banger further extends OGEE’s already extensive run, which is highlighted by the release of five new music videos including the tactical visual for his StanWithTheVisuals-directed “Saints Row 1” anthem — which captures the No Fumble General theoretically inflicting fatal harm on a group of masked home intruders.

While OGEE has been applying pressure recently, the SC native has been putting work for years and was formerly associated with the same management company behind the career of Memphis rap superstar Blacc Youngsta, years after permanently retiring from his athletic career in 2015 when he got shot.

OGEE began gaining nationwide acclaim in 2018 after he teamed up with Houston-bred rapper Lil Boss for their explosive “ACK A DONKEY” collaboration which has accumulated more than 1.3 million views to date.

He then began popularizing the Geechee Music rap subgenre, which is his trademarked spin on the genre that is derivative of the West African Gullah Geechee dialect.

Over the years, he has perfected his craft to the point where his now producing his own beats and acting as his own personal engineer by mixing and mastering all of his own music as well.

Along with his burgeoning music empire, OGEE has also put on his entrepreneur hat this year and has gone all-in with his boutique dog-breeding imprint Top Dog Kennels (TDK).
