Summer Walker + Ari Lennox to Headline Broccoli City Festival

It will be the first time that the Broccoli Festival will take place over the course of two days, beginning on Saturday, May 7, 2022 and May 8, 2022.

The Broccoli City Festival is making its return after a two-year hiatus impacted from the Covid-19 pandemic. In conjunction with Live Nation, the festival will be co-headlined by R&B debutants, Summer Walker and Ari Lennox. 

It will be the first time that the Broccoli City Festival will take place over the course of two days, beginning on Saturday, May 7, 2022 and May 8, 2022. The event will be taken place at the RDK Festival Grounds in Washington, D.C. between 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, despite the weather conditions. 

Lennox, a D.C. native is currently celebrating ‘Pressure’ charting at number 1 on the Billboard R&B charts, marking her first single to chart number 1. She’s also nominated for the 2022 NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Female Artist. She will be taking captive of Saturday’s lineup alongside: 21 Savage, Wale, Rico Nasty, Joyce Wrice, Jeezy, Lil’ Durk. Larry June, and Muni Long.

Summer Walker will be honored at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards in March, will headline the Sunday’s portion at the Broccoli City Festival. Accompanying Walker will feature artists such as: Wiz Kid, Gunna, Masego, Don Toliver, Joony, Tems, and BabyFace Ray. 

The Broccoli Festival will be hosted by: Gia Peppers, Little Bacon Bear, and Rodney Rikai. DJ Malcolm Xavier and Jae Murphy will be on the one’s and two’s.
