Rap prodigy Cordae unveils his follow to his critically acclaimed mainstream debut album ‘The Lost Boy’ with ‘From A Birds Eye View.’ Creative and introspective, Cordae brings in the new year with a fourteen track LP that encompasses every angle and subject matter of the genre we know as hip hop. Joy, pain, growth, family, legacy, and more is touched upon thoroughly through the pen of Cordaa and features such as Stevie Wonder, Roddy Ricch, Lil Wayne, Gunna, Freddie Gibbs, H.E.R., and Lil Durk. Productions features from Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, Jake One, Terrace Martin, and Dem Jointz.

From my perspective Cordae positions himself among the elite of hip hop with this body of work, to be honest maybe even music overall. They’re no gimmicks but he adjusts his sound overall to incorporate his form of audible art to adjust to the “modern” sound of rap music quite well while staying true to who he is. Overall it’s a joy to see my fellow DMV native shine and quite beigh the does with his sophomore effort.
