According to multiple sources — in March 2020, Petty was arrested and charged for failure to register as a sex offender in the state of California. However, Petty’s legal woes in the West Coast begun in 2019 after being pulled over by Beverly Hills PD, where it was confirmed that although he was registered in New York State as a sex offender, he had not registered in California where he now resides.

Kenneth Petty is due back in court on January 24, 2022.

Unbeknownst to many, Kenneth’s criminal background stemmed in 1995 after being convicted of a first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in the state of New York. At the time, it was suspected that Petty was between the age of 17 or 18-years-old, however, under 18 in the state of New York is a minor. Petty would spend 4 years in prison with a lifetime sexual offender under his belt upon his release.
