Wise Guy Frank was born Benjamin Davis, growing up on the streets of Miami he fell in love with music at an early age. With his love for music came influences to look up to. Such as Tupac Shakur and hip hop stars Lil’ Boosie and Kevin Gates.
Frank also writes his own music and music is therapeutic to his everyday life. His music comes straight from his heart and now he’s starting to sing as well. He calls it his “ghetto gospels,” or “undiscovered Miami.”
His music represents the tougher times in his life and also reflects on how far he has come from those days to a place where love heals and truly makes the world a better place to be.
His latest release,“Cut Throat,” features his friend and idol Boosie Badazz. The new music is important to him and comes straight from experiences in his life that still make him quite emotional – the real, “raw and painful” stuff. “The inspiration behind this project came from several experiences in my life, and I was able to give a full circle of emotion,” he said.
When the singer was asked what his plans were for 2021 and the future Wise Guy Frank was positive and was giving off plenty of good vibes. “You know, you just keep pushing it — grind hard,” said the rapper. “I’m going to make good music and make sure my family stays straight.” he genuinely feels like the sky is the limit when you push yourself to learn new things and allow yourself to grow.
