Eric Bellinger is adorned as one of the most influential yet underrated gems of this generation. His musical accolades range from penning some of the biggest hits from prominent artists – to being as force to be reckoned with. In retrospect, Bellinger’s musical genius shouldn’t hail to no surprise when it comes to his artistry and those who follows under his umbrella.
Libra (formally Liyah the Libra) can be considered the missing ingredient to women in hip-hop – to which has been transitioning to the majority led in a short span of time. The 19-year-old native of California is a fresh breath of air. Her lyrical compound(s), heavily doted context, and vibrancy is something unearthed from prowess that is unmatched.
Recently signed to Bellinger’s YFS (Your Favorite Song) label, the lyricist unveiled her new project titled ‘The Frequensea,” which features 16 records in which you get to take a whirlwind lesson of Libra’s vibrations. All has been written solely by Libra – permitting her penmanship to flow effortlessly on each track. ‘Woeman,’ is the first record to be promoted off of the project, in which incites an ode to women of all walks of life to be saluted. The remaining 15-records are nothing short of amazing.
