Philly’s Vellcrow Drops “Savage” Ahead of New LP ‘The Crow’s Nest’

(January 7, 2021) Vellcrow is an exciting, high-energy artist out of Northeast Philly with an unapologetic, theatrical approach you’re not likely to forget.

His new song “Savage” is the perfect introduction to Vellcrow’s dark, high-paced energy… he wears it right on his face after all. In addition to his rapid-fire flow and aggressive production, the music video gives listeners a look at the signature creepy clown makeup that Vellcrow has become known for. The spooky, theatrical look and schizophrenic energy of the visual pairs perfectly with the track’s angry flow and gritty vibe.

Philadelphia has always been home to raw, explosive talent and appears to be having a moment – with several talented new artists bursting onto the scene in 2020. Today, with over 300 performances under Vellcrow’s belt – including spots at the Billboard Hot 100 Festival, Ugly God’s Same Pants Different Tour, and Philly’s TLA – it’s possible that the 25 year-old from North Philly could be next in line.

Currently working with a strong team with a clear vision, Vellcrow is in a strong position to execute. “Savage” serves as a preview for Vellcrow’s debut project, a full-length EP titled “The Crow’s Next” scheduled to drop next month in February 2021.

Not to mention that as soon as restrictions allow, Vellcrow is ready to shake the room with a never-ending stream of off-the-wall live performances. Check out the video for “Savage” below, be on the lookout for ‘The Crow’s Nest’ LP coming in February, and stay tuned for more from Vellcrow in 2021.
