Six 3 – formerly known as Dorrough – drops a hot new club record with Asian Doll titled “Twerk War.” The platinum-recording artist and Dallas hip hop legend that brought you the 00’s smash hit “Ice Cream Paint Job” under Dorrough Music has returned to the game under a new moniker, Six3.
This time with “Twerk War” feat. Asian Doll, an upbeat, maximum bounce club banger that is every bit as outrageous as the title implies. The clap-heavy, bass-fueled beat compliments Six 3’s catchy flow before Asian Doll comes for your neck with an impressive verse perfectly summed up by her last bar “Pretty, but my attitude raw.”
Between the big production, hilarious premise, and well-placed Asian Doll feature, “Twerk War” makes for the perfect soundtrack for… well exactly what the name suggests.
Since officially announcing his comeback and name change with “The Jumpback EP” in 2018, Six 3 has dropped a steady stream of well-performing singles debuting a refreshed version of the flashy, bouncy Texas style he became known for.
Starting with “Texafornia” in 2019, a hard-hitting ode to his two favorite states followed by “Brand New” that dropped earlier this year. In September, Six 3 had the honor of having his latest single, “Full Throttle” be named the Dallas Cowboys official team anthem – shooting the video at the Cowboy’s practice facility, The Ford Center in Frisco.
“Twerk War” comes ahead of Six 3’s upcoming project, a 6-track EP titled “Unlocked” – signifying a new phase in his career, unlocked by the success of his former persona Dorrough. Keep your eye on Six3, as the star power from his former life is still very much evident in his new work.
