Is The Old Kanye Back?

Kanye may have escaped from the sunken place after all.

Everybody’s favorite Trump supporting rapper-turned-disciple of Jesus Christ, Kanye West, may be rejoining the black delegation.

After the video-captured murder by asphyxiation of George Floyd at the hands (and knees) of the Minneapolis police department, in which an officer kneeled on Floyd’s neck for nearly 9 minutes, the yet-to-be United States erupted in protests for justice. This murder, in addition to the murders of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, shocked many (white) people who somehow didn’t know that police officers have been brutalizing black people forever.

Many people began to educate themselves on the history of systemic racism, particularly in the years after slavery, which is when Fox News thinks racism ended.

After being spotted at a George Floyd protest in his hometown of Chicago last week, Kanye West has reportedly put his money where his MAGA hat is and donated 2 million dollars to the families of the three aforementioned victims, which will also cover legal fees. In addition, ‘Ye set up a 529 fund for college tuition for Floyd’s 6 year old daughter.

These actions don’t seem to be aligned with Kanye’s rants in support of Donald Trump, or his claims that slavery was a choice. Recent reports have dug even deeper, however, and suggest that Kanye has been faking his support for the oompa-loompa in chief in order to get people out of jail. How Sway?

According to a report from Ace Showbiz, G.O.O.D Music rapper GLC appeared on The Red Pill Podcast With Van Lathan, and stated that West gave him boxes of MAGA hats because he’d never wear them again. West reportedly claimed to wear the hats because without them, he wouldn’t have gotten highly publicized meetings with Trump in the first place in order to free innocent people from jail. This makes sense, as Trump is very receptive to celebrities and media outlets who support him.

West’s wife, Kim Kardashian has been making headlines for her fight for racial justice as well, as she has already helped free numerous people from jail.

Of course, in his most recent interview with GQ, West declared his support for Trump again, so who ever really knows with this guy. Let’s hope that Kanye can reveal his truth soon with a new interview or music, which is reportedly on the way.
