Life often reflects art, the same can be said for the opposite. Konvict Kulture’s newest female artist AMIRROR, is the embodiment of that sentiment. Her music personifies A fierce, fun, and fiery sense of inclusivity. The rising pop princess’s sound twirls between afrobeat, dancehall, R&B, and hiphop, leaving the vibrance and vitality of each style intact.

“I’m always going to be a reflection of everybody. I’m everything. I was raised to love unconditionally. I was raised within two distinct cultures. I was raised to believe anything is possible. It’s not who I am; it’s what I am, and I am a reflection of all that.”

“Real Love,” is an ode to just that. The record has heavy influences of island sound and pays homage to Mary J. Blige’s 1992 hit classic of the same name.

“I really don’t care about your Ferrari. I really don’t care about your jewelry.”

Though the song lyrics are simple enough in their arrangement, the message reigns as a standout in a time where it seems all people care about is money, jewels, and other material things.
