Exclusively premiered with VIBE magazine, rising rapper and producer Niko Brim has released his new and highly anticipated single “Feds Watching” featuring long-time collaborator Kamari. Niko Brim once again uses his undeniably keen ability to tell a story and creates a piece of work that is not only relatable but also necessary for his key audience. The Sax Money produced track tells a story about a girl in a tough situation and whose actions have serious consequences. He highlights the importance of watching one’s back as well as navigating the juxtaposition that is remembering where your loyalty should lie.
“It’s about the girl being so bad, it’s dangerous,” Niko explains. “Also, you never know who’s watching and plotting on you,” Niko further elaborates on his latest single. “[It is] also about sticking with somebody even when things aren’t going the best.”
Quote: “This was one of my favorite cook ups. That night I did 4 or five records and I knew this one was a standout. Its a good feeling but its really about a girl being so pretty that she makes things hard for you. Its a rough spot to be in you know? Do you stand ten toes or let her be… either way I cant leave her alone.
