“Nuke” is the latest release from a breakout year for the New York recording artist Gromo. Sticking to the winning formula with another collaboration with fellow rising-star vocalist Hush, “Nuke” is an explosive new track ready to explode on the dance floor. Once again Gromo supplies the intriguingly bouncy EDM-meets-Hip Hop vibe as Hush sings about all the good, bad, and fun times that we all celebrate in this thing called life.
It was this time last year that Gromo delivered a similar impact with the release of his previous hit, “RIP”. “Nuke” is debatable as his best work yet, thanks to its unique sound, concept and execution. Stream it below, Gromo had this to say on the song’s creation.
“ It was important for me with “Nuke” to take the listener somewhere. My favorite albums by artists like Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Mobb Deep, and Dr. Dre all take the listener on a journey into their world. The music reflects their realities. With “Nuke”, I want to take you into the world of mind and imagination of Gromo. When I first created the song, the idea was to cross-pollinate the energy of EDM with the rawness and gritty Hip-Hop.”
