R. Kelly has been in the news left and right following the “Surviving R. Kelly” series. Today, July 16, 2919 R. Kelly appeared in Chicago’s U.S. District Court for a hearing. The charges he’s currently facing are production of child porn, sex-trafficking, racketeering, crossing state lines for sex with underage girls and obstruction of justice. At this hearing federal prosecutor declared R. Kelly “an extreme danger to the community, especially minor girls” and the judge denied him bail.

Prior to last Thursday, R.Kelly had been out on bail after being charged with multiple sex crimes in state court in Chicago. Some of his former employees handed over some incriminating video footage and pictures to law enforcement. The pictures and videos show R.Kelly having sexual relations with under age females. R. Kelly is now facing 195 years in prison in Chicago and another 30 years in New York.
