City Girls’ Rapper JT Will Be Released From Prison In The Next 90 Days

JT is on her way home.

Fans of City Girls can get ready to lose the #FreeJT hashtags because the rapper is set to be released from prison early. During an interview with Miami’s 99 Jamz, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, co-founder and CEO of Quality Control Music, revealed that JT will be released in the next 90 days.

JT, whose real name is Jatavia Johnson, recently filed documents requesting to be released from a Tallahassee prison early so she could be placed in a halfway house. A few months back a judge denied the motion, but it appears that the Bureau of Prisons granted an early release.

In June 2018, JT started serving a 24-month prison sentence for charges related to felony identity theft. She will have to complete one year of probation following her release.

While JT remains behind bars, Yung Miami has been holding things down for the group. She recently announced that she is pregnant with her second child. “I want this journey to be nothing but positive going forward and I wanted to share this with y’all,” said Yung Miami. “No one knows what is best for me but GOD, and this was just his timing for me.”
