Since the release of “Rather You Than Me” back in 2017 and a few collaborations sporadically, it has been a considerable amount of time since we’ve heard any new music from Rick Ross. It has also been about a year of speculation about the possibility of “Port of Miami II,” releasing in the last year, which unfortunately did not happen as anticipated from the fans.
However, the Teflon Don himself took to social media on June 20th to inform that the project was to release on June 21st. Rick Ross has been silent when it comes to talking of new music, yet considering his eloquent and precise choice of detail when it comes to his craft, it certainly has been worth the wait.
Rick Ross came through with the announcement on his social media accounts today, informing us that his next album will be out at midnight. “God is the greatest. Port of Miami started me on this journey,” said the rapper. “It’s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones, this album is for you. Tenth studio album. Get ready. Ride with me. It’s time.” In the caption, The Boss confirmed that the project would release exactly at midnight on all major platforms.
As the anticipation grows for “Port of Miami II,” Ross recently dropped his first single titled “Act a Fool” with label mate Wale. Check out the club banger after the jump and stay tuned for further updates including a review on “Port of Miami II.”
