One thing I honesty hate, is when an artist teaches self-love and doesn’t follow what they teach. Now, to be fair she has always been honest about her surgery, and never shy away from sharing her experience. While I always celebrate this woman and her hustle, I do say all the time that she needs a break. Even when she was pregnant, I kept saying that she needed to rest. Yet, many women were celebrating her and pushing her to keep going like they do now. Not saying that you can’t have it all, but you must know when to take a break. And Cardi B finally learning that it is time for her to take a break. Cardi B has recently been open about her latest procedures, and, according to some new reports, the complications from her current operations may have forced her to cancel some upcoming shows. Earlier this month, she confirmed she had plastic surgery during her performance at Memphis in May (which was this year best, but her performance not so much).
Many sent well wishes to the rapper, even Wendy Williams sent well wishes and she also shared her experiences. Wendy revealed on Tuesday show, that she too had a hard time bouncing back from her own procedure, back in the day. The host has previously admitted to getting a breast augmentation in 1994. However, she did not specify which surgery of Cardi’s she can relate to. however, this break works in her favor…. more ticket sell. As I said earlier, she had to cancel this Friday show at the 92Q Spring Bling Festival in Baltimore and change the date to Sept 8th. which lead to more ticket sales. According to TMZ, nearly 2,000 tickets sold … and an additional 2,600 and counting have sold since. Add these totals to the tickets previously purchased — which will be honored in September — and it looks like the show will have no problem selling out its 13k capacity venue.
However, take this as a lesson learned. Your health is your wealth, don’t take your life for granted. We only have one life and no matter how much money we have, we can’t take it with us when we gone. Take this lesson and know when to sit down. Money will always be there, but your life is another story. Just my opinion.
