Chris Brown “Number One”

LA-based Singer|Songwriter JCarter is showing a more aggressive side on his New Single “Bend & Break’em” which was produced by Hit-Makers ChrisNTeeb. The singer is introducing the world to his Alter-Ego Young J. III; who happens to be a rapper. JCarter says rapping is another way to express his-self musically. He also seems to have something in common with R&B/Pop Superstar Chris Brown, a track produced by 2011 Grammy-nominated hit-maker Kevin “K-Mac” McCall (@KevinMcCall), who worked on a majority of Chris’s 2010 Mix-tape Fan Of A Fan w/Tyga. JCarter wrote one of his most personal songs to this track titled “Battlefield (Of Love)” which is featured on his 2012 [Mix-tape|Album] JC∆rtēr V§. ¥oūng J. III Never releasing it, Chris later used the same track on his Fan Of A Fan Mix-tape for a song titled “Number One” which is a story of Chris telling a girl; she’s his number one.. which is ironic considering “Battlefield (Of Love)” is about the struggle of JCarter’s 1st love; whom he made his “Number One”. Either way; both songs are amazing, and were produced by a very talented producer, hopefully we’ll get to hear more collaborations from these two in the future.

Grammy winning singer Brandy Norwood finally released her 1st Single off her forthcoming album; Two Eleven, her 2012 debut project on RCA/Chameleon Records. The Single “Put It Down” features Chris Brown (CBreezy) and was written by Sean Garrett w/ production by Hit maker Bangladesh. The song offers a more Sexy, Edgy sound to Brandy’s smooth R&B voice; w/ a Hip-Hop undertone this is sure to be a club banger. The 33-year-old singer turned heads in NYC wearing some flashy red sneaks while visiting The BoomBox‘s Offices.

“It’s called ‘Put It Down,’ but I like to call it ‘Fall in Love,’” Brandy tells The BoomBox. “But no one else likes that title. It’s so new and so fresh. It’s just a different vibe. It’s R&B meets Hip-Hop and it’s Edgy and Gritty, but it’s about love, which is something we all want to experience and stay in love. I want to stay in love.”

The single is set to hit iTunes May 8th, while Two Eleven is set to be released in June 2012. The singer spoke about her new music as well as the Triumphs & Tribulations of her career in VH1′s “Behind the Music.”
