Grammy award winner and multi-platinum recording artist Brandy Norwood recently did an exclusive photo shoot with photographer Derek Blanks. The Alter-Ego theme is set to be used as promotional images for the singer’s upcoming press release and her appearance on the Lifetime series, Drop Dead Diva. A lot of her fans have speculated that the photos may also be used for her forthcoming album. We’ll see!

JStaffz (Jabari Stafford Bowry) was born September 24, 1985 in Scarborough, Ontario. JStaffz lived in Toronto until he was 5 and moved to Brampton. He grew up in a VERY musical home seeing that his mother used to be a R&B singer and his Father a DJ. “When I was 7 I started taking piano lessons at RCM. When I turned 12 I learned how to play the steel drums over the summer & learned how to DJ from my Dad.” JStaffz has also taken piano lessons (RCM) for 8 years until he was 15 where he picked up the drums in high school. “I started making beats when I was 16 on Acid Pro. I got my first song on the radio when I was 19.” Since then JStaffz’s production has graced mixtapes from the world biggest mixtape DJs like DJ KaySlay, DJ White Owl, DJ Rockstar, DJ Whoo Kid & DJ Ill Will. He has produced songs for artists like Tony Yayo, 40 Glocc, Joe Budden, Sean Kingston, Wiz Khalifa, Yung Berg, Termanology, The Kid Famous, JD Era, Rochester & more. Aside from producing Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop and Dance Music; he is also an In-House Producer for  Silver Bridge Media (www.silverbridgemedia.com) providing music for movies and major television networks through Viacom; such as MTV, VH1 and HBO. Ernest ”Moon” Hill was born and raised in Plainfield, NJ.  For 19 year old Moon, having the world hear his voice is a dream come true.  He describes his own music as “Real”, and signifies life as he has experienced it, as well as what he would like to experience.  He intends to show the world hes not a just ”Battle Rapper.” “My music will always reflect who I am.”  That’s a commitment he intends to stay true to. He has worked with Super-Producer/ Artist Developer Young Juve, and producer K-Mack of the Soul Diggaz.  Moon also opened up for Diddy Dirty Money in Jacksonville, FL. Moon has been compared to rapper DMX for his artistic and street credibility.  It is his ability to connect with the listeners and his stage presence that makes Moon a rare commodity. Moon is currently in the studio putting together his album; which is set to drop sometime in 2011.

I Just want to sing, forget the rules” are words that you may hear when Ron Starr speaks. Ron Starr born Ronald Johnson April 11th 1989 in the Bronx, New York to a single parent. Singing since age 7, Ron yearned for different ways to express himself. Music was the outlet for every emotion possible. The now 22 yr old, with the unique tone and look of his own is ready share his expression with everyone thats willing to open thier hearts to the music. With wisdom beyond his young age but still open to learn “Strong” , “Innovative“, and “Sure of” are some words that would describe Ron Starr.  At a very early age Ron learned that it was okay to “feel free to speak his mindas an artist. His mother made sure he knew creative freedom was a cool thing to have. Ron ran with that and he thanks for her for allowing him to express his self.

Make The Beat Go“  the first single off of “The Ron Starr Experience” garnered a buzz on its own before its actual release. The Follow up single “Chill Real Ill“ is a 90′s inspired summer time record.. But “The Ron Starr Experience” isnt all hip hop inspired. Its R&B Love songs as well, Its a vibe. “Before anything there was music, and after everything there will be music. I want to stay true to my love of it and respect the music“.
