Chris Brown can now add to his list of wins against his former manager Michael Guirguis also known as Mike G. Just days before leaving for his European tour last year, Chris Brown allegedly beat up Mike G in a back room which then lead to a lawsuit.
Mike G and his firm, Nitevision Management, requested to seize $1.5 million in assets from the singer because he claims the singer did not pay commissions from personal services. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Chalfant rejected that motion, according to Encino Patch.
And to add a little more fuel to the flame Mike G claims defamation against Chris Brown due to a statement via Instagram by singer stating that Mike G stole money from him and fired him as well.
The assets requested to be seize was money from Brown’s deposit accounts and interest in real estate.
“Although there can be no dispute that Brown owes Nitevision the unpaid commissions, he refuses to pay them,” said Guirguis’ lawyers in court documents.
Frustrated with the situation at hand, Mike G accuse Chris Brown of a few things which lead to a response via Instagram
Ni**as is getting mad and filing lawsuits because I fired them because they’re stealing money. You’re stealing money, pal. So you’re mad because you’re no longer existent.
