New York City is where it all started, and although the south dominated for about a decade, the home that birthed Hip-Hop culture is slowly but surely making a reemergence on the scene. Rap stars Juelz Santana from Harlem link up for a posse cut, featuring none other then Brooklyn bad boys, Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel, who are both currently incarerated at Rikers Island. The crews collaborate on this NYC anthem, “Time Ticking,” which was directed by Kid Art.
The fellas take to the streets, while spitting bars on the corner flashing money while shots of the city’s skyline is captured. And of course no rap visual would be complete without beautiful women dancing showing off their assets. The nearly 5-minute clip also includes polaroids of both Bobby and Rowdy, while a recording of their vocals from behind bars appear on the track.
On another note Juelz Santana has been busy since he’s teamed up with Migos and Jim Jones on “D-Up,” along with Cam’ron and French Montana.
